Live your best life!

Hey guys, we've gone through the first week of 2011 already! Part of the Happy Charming Restauranteur's resolution for 2011 is living your best life (inspiration from Oprah) and doing this TODAY... and not tomorrow... and waking up early (Jojo Struys is also doing the same in 2011... waking up earlier!)

Do share with us what your 2011 resolutions are, and the first week is a good time to take stock of how things are going and what struggles you are facing to keep them... it takes time to cultivate a new habit and resolution, so we need to spur each other on!

Being responsible for your own health is a great part of living your best life : eating - exercising - having a positive frame of mind are all key elements. Coming closer to nature, eating more fresh foods grown by yourself... (if you have the means - the land, the time etc)... if you DO... then come to Restoran Hainan Curry Rice to pick up some free organic fertilizer... the coffee grounds and tea leaves after brewing make an excellent natural chemical-free fertilizer which helps plants to flourish.

You can see the result of the fertilizers with the many herbal remedy plants and shrubs we grow in front of the restaurant...

Mulberry - the fruit is high in antioxidants (akin to blueberry, blackberry etc) - the leaves have been studied to provide a whole host of benefits from enhancing the immune system, help in regulating blood sugar levels, supporting the digestive system and promoting good eyesight.... (actually the list goes on... you can look on the internet for more sources, or start to pick up the mulberry leaves from Restoran Hainan Curry Rice and start to experience the benefits yourself!)

Misai Kucing - the leaves and unique flower help to regulate blood sugar, blood pressure, is used in herbal treatment of diabetes and is also a source of antioxidants. Come to Restoran Hainan Curry Rice and you will be able to see the unique flower, in which this herbaceous shrub gets its name from... of a lavendar hue, beautifully reminding you of cat's whiskers

Lemon Balm - the leaves are said to help curb coughs from developing further, the drink is also very refreshing and light - brewed with a little sugar to sweeten the drink...

So, what else are you waiting for? Stop by Restoran Hainan Curry Rice today to see the herb collection... and share in a little bit of how to Live your best life!

See you...

Stay hungry, stay foolish (from the Whole Earth Catalogue...) come to Restoran Hainan Curry Rice.
